Charles Trakas submitted a Capital Gain Tax Planning request for Manny Bulgin (alias)
Cheston's company provides tax planning & services to his clients in the state of Georgia & trucking Companies. His one client who owns a trucking company, and owns land worth $4M with a cost basis of $2M, expected $400k of CG's, have been in front of other professionals offering a 1031 exchange as a solution, however on our first zoom call, I briefly introduced Cheston to our trust software: https://rtsincometrust.com/ Cheston agrees and has discussed the benefits of a CRT for them in this scenario. He wants the confidence and to confirm that it is the best option for his clients.

Thank You Charles Trakas for sharing a Capital Gain Tax Planning request for Manny Bulgin (alias)
When I became an insurance agent in 1981
in 1981 -- I was rapidly introduced to St. Louis association of Life underwriter now call St louis NAIFA. I joined and went to as many meetings as I could they always had awesome speakers some were industry leaders. Over the years I made friends and collogues out of many of the other members and even made good friends out of some of the speakers. I frequently text Tom Hegna and he always responds back to me. Point being that venue died a few years back and left a void, But now we have this platform thanks to Ryan and Bill and others on the redwood team and it can be just as helpful for those who engage it. You have virtual y and unlimited supply of opportunity and with the right tools and the right supportive community the only thing standing between you and wild success is your ability to engage and stay focused helping people. to Quote John Cena 14 time WWE champion NEVRE GIVE UP!

@Chuck Nash Hey Chuck, I too remember the NALU membership. Really a good organization for insurance agents. I went on to earn my CLU and ChFC, qualify MDRT and Top of the Table, hanging around other top agents in Hawaii, attending meetings with other successful Life agents on the mainland and today we again have the opportunity to further our business life experiences thru Bill, Scott, Ryan, Christen and the successful Top business people they introduce us too. Thank you Bill Hall, Mahalo!πŸ‘
ONE THING in regards to success
I am convinced no business (or person) ever owned success. We only lease success. We cannot own it. There never comes a time when you can say, "I am successful." There comes a time when you can say, "I am currently leasing success and the rent you pay on success is the commitment to thinking and doing. The lease is never prepaid nor paid up ---- the rent comes due year after year that you want to experience success. BWF

Work Plans that Work
Do you have a plan or do you plan to have a plan? What gives you direction? By Fred Smith The young man stopped being a day laborer at age eighteen and by twenty-seven was a millionaire. After losing all of his money he is well into the second million. When I asked him how he felt about losing the first one, he dramatically took out his wallet, slapped it down on the coffee table between us, stuck his finger at it and said, "Fred, take it any time you want, no matter how much is in it. Just leave me two things and I'll still make a million… leave me my self-respect and my work plan." At this point I only had one question, "Do you happen to have a second copy of the work plan?" I would like to give you the four points that this young man wrote when he was a day laborer. 1. Clarify a specific goal. He handed me a piece of paper and said, "Fred, write down on that paper the dollars and cents you expect to make this year." I said, "I can't write down dollars and cents, but I'd like to make more." He said, "That's your trouble. You don't have a goal; you only have a direction." Immediately I thought of the young men who had come to me in business and said they wanted to get ahead, but had no specific goal in mind. They only had a direction. 2. Have a plan for reaching your goal. He asked me if I thought I could write out a program whereby my son could learn to be a good executive if he followed it religiously. Let me ask you… if your son came and said he wanted to follow in your footsteps, could you write him out a program which, if he honestly worked at it, would result in success? I'm sure you could. So, I answered, "Yes, I believe I could do that." Then he hit me between the eyes when he said, "Fred, are you doing what you would write down for your son to do?" I had to admit that I wasn't to which he replied, "Fred, it's easy to see your failure is not in knowing, but in not doing." 3 Maintain a burning desire to work your plan. Notice he didn't say anything about reaching the goal. He said, "Work your plan." He realized that most people can be enthusiastic about a goal, but when it comes to working the plan there that is where they fail. Everybody is enthusiastic about shooting a low score in golf, but not many of them are willing to work the plan of practice. It's the plan we have to maintain a burning desire for, not the goal.
