Lord, May we always strive to live our lives with getting to Heaven as our final goal. Let us always live our lives according to the gospels, keeping God's commandments and may we always be in God's grace by going to confession regularly. Amen

“If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.” When we trust in God’s providence life reveals opportunities for grace and life. Too often we can feel the victims of circumstance, plowing through life by sheer force, white-knuckling the trials of life as if they are meant to break us. Imagine if we saw every day as a gift from God to grow in His life, to see obstacles and struggles as opportunities for growth? If we did, we would more readily ask God for help and receive it more quickly. Here’s the secret… God wants you to be filled with His perfect peace and life… yes. He wants your Joy and happiness… sometimes the struggles are meant to purify your life so that you can finally find it! Have a blessed day!

Today’s solemnity highlights the Goal of our Catholic faith: to live in Grace, to participate fully in God’s own life. Here, while we live on earth we receive His abundant life through the sacraments. Each sacrament extends God’s life to the recipient. As the elected, we who are baptized, are called to LIVE as children of God, heirs of His glory, by the way we live and through our communication with God in prayer. Sanctity is an incremental process. Holiness isn’t a state of being, it is an activity, a disposition. Each day we are called to grow in our understanding and love for God. Each day we have opportunities to master our passions, guide our actions toward the good, and grow in wisdom and knowledge. Strive to be a saint today. Make today an opportunity to grow in grace. Choose to conquer today as a child of God with all of the Heavenly aid at need at your disposal. Live as someone who is chosen, a royal child, an heir of God’s kingdom, for this is God’s will for you! Be a saint!

The introit in today’s Mass reminds us to live in God’s presence with the angels of God, and praise His glory at all times: “Bless the Lord, all ye His angels: you that are mighty in strength, and execute His word, harkening to the voice of His orders. (Ps. 102: 1) Bless the Lord, O my soul: and let all that is within me bless His holy name.” As children of God we are invited to participate in the heavenly courts! At Mass we sing the angel’s hymns of praise, “Holy, Holy, Holy.” But do we live the rest of the day with this truth in mind? Let all that is in you bless the Lord!
