Let's Celebrate New Book Launched
Hey Friends, I just wanted to share that I finally hit "Publish" on my latest book. For me anxiety always strikes before I hit publish. Especially when I am catching some last minute typos before I publish, but ya know what? I think that's normal for those of us who are experienced with self publishing. The next step for me would be setting up my A+ content, scheduling my KDP free days for my ebook, and running some book promotions. I will also need to start sending out emails to my audience to let them know about this latest book launch to start to drive some traffic and sales to Amazon because that helps them push out your book more. The next biggest goal is trying to get as many reviews on the book that I can so that I can start my Amazon ads and kick everything off. <3 Just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone supporting me on this book publishing journey as the more I continue to learn the more I will be sharing with you.

Congrats!
AI Thoughts 💭
I know my course highlights using AI to help you accomplish your book, but how do you feel about this? Some writers ✍️ feel that the use of AI 🤖 in content is unethical, while others think it’s a lifesaver. I don’t suggest only using AI to write content, but AI can be a useful tool especially while you’re learning the process to get your first book published so you can learn how to actually self publish a book. Would love to know your thoughts on the subject and if you feel like using AI makes you uncomfortable that’s okay too.

Some thoughts cross my mind when I consider your question, Krista. Forgive me if I don't answer directly. Firstly, I highly doubt that photographers who use Photoshop to add all manner of layers, filters, etc to a 'capture' that took perhaps a moment to take (albeit with perhaps years of experience) worry either about its use, or its disclosure. They create and publish a stunning image. Secondly, AI is a baby compared to where it will be in the very near future. I think it's analogous to the personal computer ("no one will want one of those - they are for business only!") or the Internet ("it won't last - it's a fad!") believe that the current negative perception of AI in marketing, etc will transition with familiarity, as AI permeates virtually every area of activity. Thirdly, AI is fundamentally misconstrued in much of the artistic (including writing) community. It is seen either as a plagiarizer, or a text spinner. The fact that it is a pattern matcher par excellence, requiring a large amount of human intelligence and creativity to achieve unique and emotionally-resonant results is unknown or ignored. My two cents.
