13 Years of YouTube Knowledge in 46 Minutes
This video by Colin & Samir has tons of crazy insights for YouTube. One actionable strategy: Create a list of 100 video ideas. If you can't make a list of 100 ideas, you need to keep working on idea generation. With such a big list, you can easily figure out which videos are good ones. Enjoy!

Music Theory is Easy | Intervals
We're doing a video on Music Theory and Intervals. Intervals are the distance between two notes so the C-G example is showing that. Thoughts?

Hi @Tyler Grace I think the first one is the best, without the small red circle. You could have a little divot on the side like the attached thumbnail to show where it came from Also just to noteโ€”your lighting and background works really well! Btw what are you thinking for the title? That might determine if the text should be "E-->G" or "Easy"

@Tyler Grace If the word "Easy" is in the title then it's best to have something else in the thumbnailโ€”in this case, the C-->G :)

@Dawxay Tm What type of content are you making?

@Jay Rutgrink The first video is always the hardest. Once you post it and realize you won't die from an imperfect video, it only gets easier from there. I made a factual error in my third most popular video (1M views) and got 100+ comments on it. I survive :)
How to Find Your Niche
โ€œWhat should I make videos about?โ€ is a question every aspiring YouTuber asks. The answer? Find a niche. The YouTube algorithm is so good at delivering content to the people who are interested in that content. Ask yourself: what are your unfair advantages? What do you know more about than most people? What can you do that makes you stand out? For example, Nerd of the Rings is a huge Lord of the Rings fan, so he makes videos about that. Since few people are exploring LOTR in such depth, his channel is popping. Or even more specific, there's one singular podcast devoted to the Red Rising sci-fi book series. Even though the potential audience is small, no one else is making Red Rising content. Their podcast is even getting sponsors!
