Additional Daily Pow-wows - Who's Game?
@Annette Corona , @Claudie Aldridge , @Kellee Wamble and others. What: As discussed earlier today, I am looking for participants interested in meeting daily for more study sessions. Why: I am a kinesthetic learner - my study time is more effective if I am actively involved. As such, I gain more from hearing others add their experiences or understanding to what I am reading or learning, brainstorming/talking through what isn't quite clear, etc. So if you have the time and are willing, please please please indicate your interest.

Thanks @Vincent Primiani At @Claudie Aldridge, the 9PM EST/8PM CST/6 PM PST study sessions will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for now. @Vincent Primiani has graciously added it to the calendar.

Need Help Choosing CISSP Study Materials: Feeling Lost and Overwhelmed
Hello, I’m feeling a bit lost regarding the materials I need to prepare for the CISSP certification. I want to get certified within a reasonable timeframe, but I don’t know where to start. Many people recommend different books, videos, and other resources, and I’d like something clear and focused to guide me. I’m looking for up-to-date materials that will give me what I need to prepare effectively without being excessive. A practical Study Guide seems like a good fit, but I’d appreciate your recommendations on what to use. Also, since I’m based in Europe, resources from the U.S. tend to be much more expensive for me. Could you suggest options that are accessible for someone living in Europe? Thank you so much for your help! Best regards.

Hi @Parn C I empathize, because I have been there and still struggle a bit. The Official Study Guide is indeed cumbersome and a chore to read thru. After much struggle, I am using it but what I find helpful is first attempting the practice questions for a target domain in study mode. After I get my ass handed to me, my mind is less likely to get bored by the otherwise boring content of the study guide. As others have suggested, Destination Certificate's mindmaps are awesome but you cannot depend on that resource alone. You will need either their study guide or some other text book to fully flesh out the info. Be versatile, google and youtube are your friends. Case in point, I stumbled upon the youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@mrnickandre ) today and have found his explanations on networking refreshing. Goodluck!
