Pre-Vet Students--Introduce Yourselves--Gain Access to Village
Hey there, Future Veterinarians! We are so excited to have you here as part of our vibrant community of pre-vet students who are passionate about animal care, holistic medicine, and making a real difference in the world of veterinary science. Letโ€™s kick things off and get to know each other! This is your chance to introduce yourself, rep your school, and share a little bit about your journey toward becoming a vet. Also, you answering this post is your Ticket into the private Future Vet Village! Hereโ€™s what to do: 1. Post a photo or video of yourselfโ€”whether it's with a beloved pet, at your favorite animal clinic, or just a pic that represents YOU! 2. Rep your school! Let us know what college or university you're attending and where you are in your pre-vet journey (1st year? Almost ready to apply to vet school?). 3. Fun fact or passion: Share a fun fact about yourself or tell us what area of veterinary medicine youโ€™re most passionate about (Small animals? Exotics? Holistic care? ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿฆœ). 4. Once youโ€™ve posted, weโ€™ll get you verified as an active pre-vet student and grant you access to our exclusive Pre-Vet Villageโ€”a place where you can collaborate with like-minded students, access incredible resources, and learn from experienced vets like Dr. Croom. This is YOUR space, so let's build a supportive and fun community! Feel free to drop any questions or shout-outs below, and weโ€™ll make sure you feel right at home here. Canโ€™t wait to meet you all! Letโ€™s make this Future Vet Village an amazing, inspiring place to grow together. ๐ŸŒŸ #FutureVet #PreVetJourney #VeterinaryCommunity #PreVeterinary #FutureVeterinarian #AnimalProfessional

I'm Rob, a lot of people know me as Reptile Rob, reptile specialist and I really love what I do. I'm one of Dr. Croom's assistants and one of your moderators. My brain is a sponge and an encyclopedia of exotic animal care and biodiversity forward care when it applies. My ultimate goal is a research center focused on saving environments. I started my journey with animals and care having pets young, but also really wanting to see them at their best. For example Slyder, my Red-eared slider turtle. She's amazing! Dog tame and I've had her for over 20 years. She is over 40, kid friendly, and A voracious hunter. This turtle has taught me more about myself than anything alive. Mostly the lengths I would go for a life. I have a shepherd/collie mix named Hayes and he's well into his senior years and my best friend. As we all journey and build this community around holistic pet care I look forward learning, refreshing old class knowledge, learning new functions from you, and I will be an open book. Welcome to the community future doctors! I cant wait to see you all get after it and solve and save the future!

What I love about reptiles most is their longevity. Most reptiles species average 26 years of life. That's a nice long time to have a bestie.

@Turnera Croom hedgies are actually soft when they want to be. You just can't rub them the wrong way.
