My wins: Physical fitness is slowly improving at an appropriate, sustainable, and habitual pace. For the first time since a major medical ordeal, I have some hope that my neurology and lung function might actually return. My struggles: The length of this road already traveled on the above mentioned stuff. My insights: There is nothing that can replace self-issued desire. No one can want want it for us enough. No one can coach it into us. No one can make enough gains in their journey that will actually benefit mine. All we can do collectively is remain dedicated to the task at hand, of being citizen defenders and training, experimenting, failing, and training some more to be a fighter with a gun.
