Help with supplemental reading
All, Currently I am taking the 35 hour training PMP course on Udemy as I was able to stumble upon this training and thought this may be of interest. I have a PM background to a certain degree but it has all been learned on the job. I thought it would be a benefit to have a formalized learning path. I have watched through about 20% so far. I took the first assessment test and didn't do as well as I feel I should have. I have downloaded the training courses supplemental documents but wanted to see if anyone had advice on any other books or reading material that would be a benefit to passing the PMP exam? I am not a PMP member and on a tight budget so I wanted to see if you had like 1 book you would recommend that I should definitely get for studying?

Try his 10hr crash course, especially if you already have the 35hr requirement. His book is great as well if you prefer reading. You may have failed the section test because the 35hr is more information than you need and you can pin point what’s important. View my most recent post on what I recommend in detail.
PMP Exam Prep to Pass
I already have the PMBOK. I am a member of PMI.org. I am in the process of studying for the PMP exam. What do you think it is best to purchase? Your response will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Bunnie

PMP Certified!!!!!
Long post but I hope it helps someone….. I finally passed my PMP, I’ve been wanting this for years and working on it for much of 2 years and I finally did it! I hope this post helps someone because much of those 2 years were spent on materials and courses I did not have to do and life gets in the way sometimes. I did some research and took several advice on materials to use, but after that exam I realized what was important and i could’ve achieved this a LONG time ago. I did the entire Google project management certification thinking I needed all 6 courses in the certification to pass the 35hr requirement, when completed and filling out my PMP application I realized I only needed the first course. I then started Andrews 35hr course to pass the exam, the content was different so I knew I needed it to pass the exam. I also struggled to get through this course with the time I had and responsibilities, but then on one of his live YouTube sessions I learnt about his 10hr crash course and he stressed that it’s all you needed if you already have the 35hr requirement. This is when the game changed for me! Once I was halfway through I booked my date and it was go time! In roughly 6wks I’m PMP certified! THE ONLY MATERIALS YOU NEED TO PASS -Andrew’s 35hr Udemy course (If you need the 35hr requirement) -Andrew’s 10hr Crash course (I recommend this course even if you did his 35hr course) -Andrew’s exam simulator (you can get this in a bundle with the crash course on his website) -Andrew YouTube video on 100 drag and drop questions -Andrew’s YouTube video on all the formulas for the PMP (mostly understand what the results mean for EVM) -KNOW YOUR MINDSET!! I was all over the place with preparing and these were the MOST valuable to ME. Also don’t miss his live sessions on YouTube as I got great tips on there as well. The exam was tough, I started to struggle with time, the mindset saved me on the last 60 questions as I only had 40mins left to answer them. I got done with 2mins to spare. The testing center was also HOT! I wore a BLUE jacket and had to take it off within 5 minutes.

Study Materials
@Andrew Ramdayal I got my qualifying 35hrs from the Google PM course, is your 10hr crash course enough to pass the exam? With mock exam and practice as well. Anyone else with input is also appreciated.

Study Group, EST
Hi, I’m looking for a study group. My exam is booked for July 30th and I just started Andrew’s course that came with his prep guide. I’m on EST, meeting once a week would be ideal as I want to make sure I leave enough time to get through the course. Thanks
