a Little gold nugget I found again, after looking for it for ages. Also, the youtube user also has a Company of Heroes performance at this show, probably the title track for COH2. Watch till the end...

Do these changes make sense to you?
Hey everyone, here is what I have in mind about how things will develop from the beginning of December 2024. - Platinum and the Gold Membership will merge into one Audio Artist Rise Program. - Everybody who is currently a Platinum member will keep lifetime access as promised! I will always be here for you! - Everybody who is an existing Gold member (and who is signing up until 1st Dec 2024 for the Gold Membership) will get the opportunity to change your membership to lifetime status. Basically we will deduct the monthly fees from the final price of $3000. - The price FOR NEW MEMBERS will increase from $149 to $199 /month. There will also be an annual membership price plan available ($1990 /year) - The live call slots on Tuesday will be opened up for Gold members to four instead of two calls. - The livecall archive would open up for everyone. - No more lifetime membership option. - I am considering a 7 Day free trial at some point. - At a later stage, and depending on how quickly the Audio Artist Rise Program is growing, the price will finally increase to $249 /month or $2490 /year. Then, all six live calls slots will be available to everyone. Got questions, feedback, suggestions? I am listening 🤗 If you lock in NOW and before the end of December 2024, the current price of $149 /month and the lifetime option will stay and will NOT change. In fact, no price you got into the program will ever change. It is only and always only for new members. Interested in finally turning your passion into a thriving career? Can platinum members attend gold calls if it works better with their schedules?
Releasing Music through United Masters?
Has anyone used this service to release any music? It seems kind of user-friendly, I was wondering if you might share your experience.

I haven't used them, here's a redit page that is discouraging to say the least. https://www.reddit.com/r/UnitedMasters/comments/tr3q78/do_not_use_um_if_youre_considering_it/?rdt=37426

@Kevin Williams Again, I have no personal experience with them. I used Distrokid a long time ago without an issue. Please keep us posted on your findings!
Volume & Sound Quality! 🎚️🔊
Hello everyone! For those of you working with game music, I'd love to hear your insights on an issue I’m debating with my husband, who’s also in the industry. He has a strong opinion that in-game music should sound great at both low and high volumes, no matter what. He insists that "the music should be so well-mixed that if it's ever played at high volume on big speakers (like at Gamecom conference), that it won’t hurt people's ears." Hmm 🧐 I thought this only applied to trailer music... Honestly, though, I often struggle to achieve that clean, ear-friendly mix when I crank up the volume on my speakers. The mix sounds perfectly balanced at mid-volume, even high volume in headphones, but as soon as I push the volume on speakers, it can sound unpolished or harsh. How do you handle this? Is my husband right, and should I be aiming for that kind of "conference-ready" sound? If so, it looks like I need to dig deeper into final mix techniques. But! some VSTs just sound harsh at high volumes, reducing Frqz only makes the sound tiny and poor. Any advice or tips would be super appreciated!

I think about this often & marvel at the idea of (Led Zeppelin for instance) mixes sounding the same across every set of speakers I play it on. I believe there is an art to getting our mixes to sound great on all platforms at all volumes. I personally have mot mastered this art form quite yet.

@Aleksandria Migova Interestingly enough their songs, at any volume translate onto speaker systems that were only dreamed of at the time the songs were originally mixed & mastered. I think they were on to something.
