Product Selection
Appreciate the add to the group, looking forward to learning more and hopefully adding value to the community where I can in future. What strategies are you applying when looking into a product?

Hey Tane, so theres a bunch of criteria I look for when it comes to a product. - Industries you know (better understanding of market wants and desires) - Products that solve a problem (meal kits, noise cancelling headphones) - High margin eg. buy for $100 sell for $250 (super important for ecom) - Products that are starting to get popular in USA or other countries (if selling outside of those countries) - Ideally your product(s) are repetive purchases eg. clothing, supplements, personal care products I personally prefer selling high ticket items $500+ because there is usually enough margin to push hard with ads and still have a decent profit left. Plus makes fulfilment easier. Keep in mind that thousands of products can work (even ones that haven't been invented yet) so it pays to be openminded. Products that I've personally seen work well are ones that I couldn't stop thinking about, use your intuition as a guide. Also remember it's not just about the product, but also how you package & promote it. I will put together a video going a little more in-depth on this topic soon. Last but not least, try to avoid paralysis from overanalysis, get something started asap & pivot as you go. Good luck!
