Preparing for Professional Rehearsals

Fantastic tips! I love the idea of spending time developing ideas about a character rather than simply learning the lines of dialogue before rehearsals begin. Early line memorising can also tend towards focusing just on your character, whereas good acting involves inhabiting the character in the scene with other characters and the action which unfolds. So a great tip!
