Unit 03 - Given Circumstances
Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you know that Unit 03 of the Stanislavski module is now live. Given Circumstances, or the facts, are the foundation for building a character. Playwrights provide information about characters and their circumstances. As actors we need to identify these facts and fuse them with imagination in order to realise the playwright's intentions. https://www.skool.com/actorsunitedfree/classroom/3cafa44b?md=6afba41a03e644208e36e60e93f2c5e1

Vocal Care for Actors
Vocal care for actors is great! I quit smoking cigarettes a few months ago and I've noticed that my throat has been scratchy ever since. I'm performing this Saturday and need my voice to be in good shape. It's okay, but I can tell my throat is still healing. I will be doing these exercises to help.

Share Your Most Challenging Acting Experience
What was your most challenging acting experience and how did you overcome it? A significant challenge I faced early on in my West End career was firing a pair of Smith & Wesson pistols (authentic Wild West cowboy guns) to shoot six shot glasses from a bar. It took all my strength to pull them from the holster, then I spent hundreds of hours learning to twirl them, aim and fire. When I struck all 6, I got a standing ovation. That audience response was worth every hour of obsessive repetition. 🤠
