I’ve run into a few occasions recently where it’s seemed inevitable but then it peters out and doesn’t move forward, so; What is the best way to ask for the order without just outright saying “so are you buying or what?” (Not that I’d ever say it like that anyway 😂)
I like books because I’m a geek, plus I can’t go out drinking and beating casino’s every night…
Have any of you read “How To Become a Rainmaker” by Jeffrey J. Fox? Just finished reading Never Split The Difference and this is next on my list with it having been mentioned by Chris Voss.

@Abdullah Sajjad well I’d listened to so many podcasts with Chris as a guest, and other members of the Black Swan Group as guests that I feel like I’d already heard a lot of what was in the book. Which is refreshing really, knowing how much they openly give away. I did find the 65%, 85%, 95%, 100% negotiating quite an interesting take. Adding non monetary tokens into the negotiation is something I’d never thought much about before either.

Not long started in a brand new sales role that my company created recently. It’s sort of a lead gen/sales/account management/business development Frankenstein of a role. Broadly speaking it’s supplying building materials to tradespeople/small to medium companies. It feels extremely difficult at times with the industry being extremely transactional and price driven. Any tips or help welcome! 😂
