Not sure if it's acceptable to share other videos here but i saw this lesson on youtube and thought it was really eye opening. The power of music theory is so cool. I didnt know that the 4 and 5 major pentatonic scales, and the 2 and 3 minor pentatonic scales shared some of the same notes with the root major scale. I only knew that the 6 is the relative minor and so all of my improvising was only with the 6 minor pentatonic scale. This opens up a whole new world of improvising. And all you have to know is the minor and major pentatonic patterns. https://youtu.be/zpHHYicbCJI?si=M9-d5o2nik9KIEH4
