Politics of the Future
What do you guys think the Political Systems and Modes of thought will look like in the upcoming decades? Will they be democratic or autocratic? Will they be libertarian or authoritarian? What will be the same as governments of today, and what will be different? How will new technologies and advances in Ai, Biotech and Energy Production affect both politics and geopolitics? Iโ€™m interested to hear your guys thoughts

I also believe that general safety will increase drastically in the future. We will have autonomous electric vehicles so accidents will be less likely and better cameras with AI recognition will increase surveillance. This however will come at the cost of our privacy so analysts will have to make the decision if the benefits outweigh the downsides

Evaluating Truth in Politics: How Can We Identify Bias and Propaganda?
It's challenging to discern the truth in politics because the same event can be portrayed differently depending on the source. Even history itself is often written from varying perspectives, leading to conflicting narratives. For instance, take the Israel and Palestine conflictโ€”both sides have their own versions of history, which shapes their identities and claims. So, if even historical facts can be debated, how can we objectively evaluate the truth in political matters, and what criteria should we use to identify biases and propaganda?

Since what happened in the last years, I feel like there is a greater distrust in the mainstream media and people tend to do their own research more often

I used to look up alternative media platforms like X or Facebook but since there are so many opinions and debates there, it is really hard to come to conclusions. The sources that seems most trustworthy are video recordings or pictures from locals documenting a event, which can be unpleasant to look at (especially what is going on in the Near East) so I understand that certain things cannot be shown in the news.
