Shalom everyone, my 1st post in this group!!! When Yeshua gave the Great Commission, Mathew, Mark, Luke & John were PEOPLE at the Mount of Olives - THEY WEREN'T GOSPELS (Mark 16:15-16 - And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the GOSPEL to every creature.) So what was the ORIGINAL GOSPEL that Yeshua commanded them to preach? 2000 years ago, PREACHING the LAW to the STRANGER was called as sharing the GOSPEL 2000 years ago - as instructed by Moses 1300 years before that. (Deuteronomy 31:12 - "GATHER the PEOPLE together, men and women and little ones, AND THE STRANGER who is within your gates, that they may hear and that they may learn to fear the Lord your God and CAREFULLY OBSERVE ALL THE WORDS OF THIS LAW") This is exactly what the Apostles did in Acts ch 15 - they made entry conditions so that the gentiles be allowed into the synagogues so that the GENTILES could LEARN the Mosaic Laws EVERY SHABBAT {Acts 15:21- For MOSES (MOSAIC LAWS / THE TORAH) has had throughout many generations those who preach him in every city, being read in the synagogues every "SABBATH”} So the Apostles including Paul intended that the Gentiles go to the Synagogue every Shabbat & Learn the Mosaic Laws - which apparently proves that neither the laws nor the Shabbat were done away with even in the post-resurrection early church period. Throughout Acts we read in many passages that on Shabbats, the gentiles went to the synagogues in different cities to hear the word of God (The Torah) being preached.
