God Bless America
God heard our prayers about the election and has blessed America again. May today be the start of the defeat of evil in this country. Amen.

Powerful podcast episode
I came across the podcast episode with Fr. Dan Reehil, exorcist of the Diocese of Nashville, and thought it was impactful on many fronts. It's long, but a valuable listen. Father Dan Reehil is a Catholic priest who transitioned from a successful Wall Street career to the priesthood after a life-changing pilgrimage to Medjugorje in 1998. This spiritual conversion led him to leave New York after 9/11 and begin priestly formation in Boston. He was ordained in 2014 and now serves as the exorcist for the Diocese of Nashville and pastor of St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Columbia, Tennessee. In addition to his pastoral duties, Father Reehil is the National Director of Radio Maria USA, where he hosts the program "Battle Ready," focusing on spiritual topics. He is also a sought-after speaker on issues of faith, exorcism, and spiritual warfare, drawing from his unique experiences.

Psalm 63
Oh Ye of Little faith
Today’s gospel in the Extraordinary form depicts the scene when the disciples and Jesus are in a boat on the Sea of Galilee and Jesus takes a nap. The storm and the waves beat against the boat. Jesus remains asleep. The scared disciples call out to Jesus, save us! To which Jesus responds, “oh you of little faith.” My friend once told me, “if God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.” It’s a powerful reminder of a story I have of my little niece. Hoping to teach her a little independence and strengthen her confidence my brother brought my niece to a tightrope walk on a big jungle gym. She was frightened by the height and decided she didn’t want to walk it. So she sat down and cried instead. My brother, wanting her to overcome this obstacle went to the other side and called her to meet him. She was afraid. So he went and put her hand on the railing and just said, take a step. When she finally got to the other side, she said, “Daddy, I did it!!!” He responded, “I knew you could!” Sometimes it might look like Jesus is asleep, but if we remember that He in control, we might see life’s challenges as moments God presents to us for our growth. Take the first step in faith… and you’ll exclaim, “Father, I did it!” Then Jesus can say, “I knew you could!”
