Hey Team!
quick question: What's the most ridiculous thing you've ever bought that you thought you needed but never actually used? I’ll go first—bought a fancy blender, now it’s just holding fruit hostage in the fridge. đŸŒđŸ€Ł Share yours!

Exercise and sleep đŸ”„
1. Exercise effects on Sleep Stages Exercise promotes restorative sleep meaning more DEEP sleep and REM sleep. This is where your learning and memories are consolidated and leads to you feeling refreshed and restored when you wake up. 2. Timing and intensity of exercise Is it really better to do exercise in morning? Yes exercise wakes you up by releasing neurotransmitters, cortisol, adrenaline and endorphins. It is a good idea to align this with your circadian rhythm and kickstart your day. if you have to exercise in evening choose the relaxing mindful yoga and stretching. beware that an increase in body temperature will take you longer to fall asleep. (your core temperature must drop before entering sleep!) 3. Different Types of Exercise for Better Sleep cardio, strength and mindfulness exercises all have different advantages to better sleep. The combined affects being physical fatigue, stress reduction and hormonal release. All these components promote a more restful and deeper sleep as well as decreasing your sleep latency (the time taken to fall asleep!) JUST RELEASED 1ST video of WEEK 3 in my Classrooms!đŸ”„đŸ’Ș🚀

@Nonyelum Ezeani I like to break down in its simplest form Anxiety is a feeling or a result. Something you can’t fully control. If you could you wouldn’t choose to be anxious. So instead focus on something you can control which if done over a period of time is likely to decrease the chance of you feeling anxious. This may be meditation or journalling. I find these to be 2 most effective way of clearing your mind. Commit to one of these and start off small and build the habit. Also be ware of the anxiety provoking activities. Working too late. Social media, watching TV this will keep you up, get your mind racing and cause anxiety. Have a cut off for this and focus on winding down with your new habit. Over time if executed you are guaranteed to see results.

@Chris Wilson it’s a really tough one because I am also trying to use little moments to drive my business forward so it pays to be reactive. But have found best way is to block out time to do nothing. Rest of time I am ok with doing as I want. But for time blocked time that’s when I learn to do nothing. Sometimes this transcends into other parts of my life too without me trying!
