Who Else is becoming a Gear Whor..🤣
So one of the things I’m really enjoying after three decades of not playing is the fact I can actually afford gear now 🤣 I’m having a little too much fun with the pedals I always wanted in my youth but couldn’t afford. Below is the board i built and currently have on my Marshall DSL. The drop pedal is new to me and seems to work pretty well to drop tune down to Eb or D. Also just swapped out the Tube Screamer and Boss Blues Driver (which sound great piggybacked off each other btw) with this Klon clone which pushes the DSL even further. Especially with the Dimarzio’s on the Ibanez S Series (I had a 87 Roadstar II in HS). What is everyone else spending too much $ on?

Picked up this baby on eBay after talking the seller down on price. 87 Supra Distortion still in the box. This was the first pedal I ever bought as a kid so a bit nostalgic. Note the name Supra - this was soon changed in 87 after the original release due to a lawsuit on the name “super distortion” which was owned by a popular pickup manufacturer.

@Donna Macauley nice! The Stew Mac one? Let me know what you think of it. My decibels Klon clone is probably my favorite overdrive pedal. Really kicks arse into the Marshall.
Effects Loop on Tube Amp
This is kind of a several part question. I came across a good deal on a Marshall tube amp. However, the pedal is missing. 1. Is a pedal essential? Basically on the Origin 50, the pedal is supposed to give you boost and an fx loop. 2. How does one use an FX loop? I've always plugged my pedals into the front end. 3. What effects would you plug into an FX loop? Thanks!

Looks like Todd has you covered and he is correct. On. My dsl I put the overdrives into front of the amp (preamp) and time based and modulation effects into the loop out back (it bypasses the preamp). One could argue modulation effects could go either way but you want your reverb and delay on the loop for sure. You can control the gain and loop from the amp buttons too and I suspect you could find a replacement pedal On reverb for cheap if you really wanted it Look on Marshall forums or manual for pedal model Number
Look at this beauty that jumped onto my table for some love
Kiesel, flamed maple/Cali burst. Zebra wood fretboard. She is getting deep clean and full set-up. Can't wait to hear this one when I'm done

New Pickups for my Ibanez RG4EX1
I finally got my Ibanez back from the shop with the new Wilkinson Classic Tone and M Series High Output Pickups! Plus, I had a mini-toggle switch installed for even more tone versatility! I'm about to start a livestream soon showcasing them. Will post the link here when I go live. P.S. This is my response to @cliff-flurry-6984 post here: https://www.skool.com/guitarzoom/here-she-is-ibanez-rg4exfm1 Update: Oh man, of all the times to epically FAIL—I forgot to share the livestream link! Oh well, the replay is below if you want to watch. A thousand apologies.
