Hello mates, I have got a requirement, Currently the client data is in on-prem third party DB and they want to Move the data to Data Bricks. But when we tried to convince them for Microsoft Fabric they mentioned that they do not want to move to Fabric as Keyvault is not supported in MS Fabric. I have explored the options w.r.t azure databricks and MS fabric. Below are my findings. - The secrets in azure key vault can directly access in azure databricks by creating secret scope in databricks with proper permission. Since the secrets are stored in azure key vault, it’s more secure and it is centralised secrets management system. - When it comes to MS fabric.it doesn’t support direct integration with azure key vault. As an alternate options. - 1. Use Microsoft Fabric’s Built-in Secrets Management. Where you can store the secrets directly in fabric environment and access when needed. - 2. Store the secrets in azure key vault and write the custom script to access the secrets into MS fabric. Apart from the above mentioned options. Can someone please help me with proper approach to provide the right solution for the Client requirement to promote MS fabric 😊

I passed the DP-600 exam today and was really pleased with the results. The exam covered topics from Semantic models and PBI(major at least 20 Qs out of 61), DaX, tabular editor, Data flow and LH/DWH. 1 case study with 8 questions and last 3 questions on a single topic which you cannot go back once answered (bit annoying I would say)

Hello Team, As part of creating a sample project, I would like to load the csv file from my local system to warehouse in fabric. whenever I select the folder option to load the file, Next button is disabled. attaching the screenshot for the same. Can anyone suggest me the solution for this issue or any other alternate option to load the local csv file to warehouse in fabric. Thank you !!

The DP-600 exam is great for giving you an appreciation for a wide range of topics, but does it really prepare you for life as an Analytics Engineer? From speaking with a few of you, it seems you don't feel ready or comfortable yet, which is completely understandable! The DP-600 tests your understanding of the theory, but in the real world, you are measured by your experience and ability to build solutions (how you can apply the theory). As such, I always advise for people to get hands-on as early and as frequently as possible. One of the best Microsoft resources is this list of hands-on exercises which guide you through a number of scenarios, and help you build confidence with the different tools that Fabric provides. PS: I'm thinking about building a collection of hands-on tutorials which cover a lot of the core analytics engineering/ data engineering (and maybe wider?) tasks that you could expect in your career - would you find that useful?
