@Sindi McGuire thank you and everyone for the warm welcome! I've joined this group through the creation of The Kinderwealth Club on Skool and meeting/talking with Sindi about how I'm looking to add to and build relationship with parents and their children primarily through conversation - discussing how to build accountability and make finances and "open to discussion" topic through small chats at a time. These chats are personal connections that build stronger bonds, bonds hopefully to last through multiple generations - thus, I am grateful for being a member of this group for your thoughts and direction. Personally, I have a nearly-2yo son with another child on the way. My background has been a mix of investment advising and education within the professional and school settings including multiple years living abroad. To this, one of my goals is to make personal finance solely personal again, not waiting until a certain income level, moment in time, or even certain education/expertise involved before sitting down and having a chat.
