💪 Welcome to DAY TWENTY-FOUR of the Plant Positive Jumpstart! 💪
Our Theme, #ThursdayTraining, I can be a consistency queen to my detriment. If YOU can relate, it's vital for both of us to regularly take the time to check in and confirm we are spending our time, energy and CONSISTENCY wisely. Because, being patient is ONLY a strategy for success when you are taking the RIGHT actions. How to know the right actions? That's tougher! I look at, A) Am I seeing results? B) Are these actions that the person with the results I'm seeking prioritises? C) Does this feel like it could become a sustainable and joyful part of my life? Beyond setting a specific and compelling goal, here are 3 Keys to help you get and stay consistent with your exercise: - Lock and load set training days and times. This means you get to avoid any exhausting “will I, won’t I” self negotiation.   - Ensure your training is not dependent on circumstances beyond your control, like the weather or a training buddy. Or, if it is, sort your alternatives – before you need them! - Choose a form of training that you enjoy or at the very least could learn to enjoy. My caveat is that initially you might not enjoy it, because initially you might not be good at it. You can think of something you would like to be good at though.  Or at the very least, something you would like the results for being good at.   Have you ever done consistency to your detriment? Put another way, stuck with something well after it stopped being a valuable use of your time? Apologies... I got lazy with my picture picking however this is an old fav of mine... I think I'm dreaming of bread!

Awesome! I’ve got a short run today since I’m doing a 12 mile run tomorrow in training for a half marathon. I will also squeeze in a 30 min weight training session. Might have to divide it in parts but I’m ok with that :)

Alright. My goal for October is to get BACK IN MY GROOVE!! I did so well before the summer and I still have not been able to get back into my routine. But here it is, my goal is to get up at 5-5:30, do 1-3 minutes of movement, journal (which includes 10 things I’m grateful for), and meditate for at least 10 minutes. If I can get all that done, I would love to add breathwork into the mix, but maybe that’s a November goal. I stole this routine from Jim Kwik, he wrote Limitless. If you’re looking for some inspiration and tips on living your best life I recommend it!

Although there will be an abundance of healthy habits throughout the next 30 days, I recommend you pick ONE, most impactful habit that you would love to have locked and loaded by the end of June. (mine is shared in the comments - please share yours too!) Beyond deciding on that one habit, here are the actions I suggest for today AND this is the most I will ever ask. We are going to keep this jumpstart simple, easy and FUN! - If you haven't yet, download the Plant Positive Journal here: - If you want to try the 5 High Plant Protein Fat Fighting recipes I will share this week (as voted by YOU) this Grocery List is a great start. - BONUS, power-move! Get super clear on what you would like to achieve both over the next 30 Days AND BEYOND. This is likely the thing that inspired you to join the Plant Positive Membership. Month One, of the Plant Positive Journal walks you through how to do this effectively. It's a little bit of effort up front that will make living a plant positive lifestyle simple, sustainable and aligned with everything else that is important to you. Any questions or comments please let me know? This next 30 Days will run according to what you most want and need. I have plenty of plans however I'm also super flexible and open to feedback!

Mindful eating. I am pretty sure I over eat a lot. I just love food but sometimes I think I’m just bored. So my 1 goal is to really be in tune with my hunger and sloooooww down when I do eat.
