Transporting Tiny Homes
  • Know your Route: Not all paths are equal! Heights of power lines, condition of road, and tight/blind corners could spell disaster to your tiny house’s journey. Tunnels and bridges can add additional hazards to be watched out for!
  • Ensure you have the correct permits for your tiny house; some are extra heavy and some are extra wide; talk with your local DMV regarding regulations on non CDl trailer trip permits. They are inexpensive and relatively easy to obtain.
  • Does your hauling rig have the correct equipment! Most large trailers have a 7-pin outlet. This will run your brakes, and all trailer lighting, as well as keep the charge on the emergency battery box.
