26% About Page Conversion Rate

Apparently this is 8% above average for free groups but I don't even have a great about page haha. My VSL is 12 minutes of me rambling about my life and why the community exists, zero sales tactics in it.

I think the reason that my about page works is because it's simple, bold, and unique.

So how do you increase your about page conversion?

Make it BOLD. Sell the vacation, not the flight. What does your prospect really want?
Make it OBVIOUS. What is it? Who is it for?
Make it SIMPLE. Easy to read. Easy to understand.
Make it ATTRACTIVE. Have consistent branding. Mine is this red/pink color. No one wants a mess.

A great VSL will also help you, but mine is sh*t and it converts at 26% currently. If it was optimized, it'd probably go up to 30%.
