I discovered this tool through consultations with a few leaders of established Facebook groups where we discussed the potential migration of their existing communities to Skool. At first glance, it might not seem ideal because this tool doesn’t, for example, allow for creating discussion threads (unless I’m mistaken). However, it does address something that has been and still is a competitive advantage of Skool, gamification processes.
Their strength lies in focusing solely on onboarding, payment processes, and taking their fee only from profits. I think they’ve fine-tuned this better than platforms like Patreon.
As we can see, communities and subscriptions are becoming an even bigger phenomenon. If we want to elevate Skool, we should consider not only how to build communities from scratch but also how to effectively migrate long-standing communities and forums from "Old School" platforms like Facebook groups or Reddit.
