Why I Chose a $1 Community Over Free...
I’ve made a shift from a free community to a $1 community, and I wanted to dive into why I made that choice. After my previous Facebook group was unexpectedly taken down, I decided it was time to rethink how I build and protect our community space.
Here’s why $1 made sense!
1. It’s a Commitment: Even a small fee like $1 helps ensure that members are serious about joining and engaging. It filters out those just looking for freebies and brings in peeps who are ready to invest in their growth and our collective success.
2. Added Security: This minimal investment also helps safeguard our community against bots, trolls, and scams. It’s an extra layer of protection that keeps our interactions genuine and focused.
Has anyone else experimented with a similar approach?
How has it worked out for you?
I’d love to hear your experiences or any advice as I continue on this new path.
What do you think—was this a smart move?
