Lighting Issues - What am I doing wrong!?

Not sure if this is something I can get some assistance on here, but I'm desperate to solve this ASAP. I'm trying to get a nice view out of the window of my RV, but instead it just looks really bright & the glare is distracting/unappealing.

The old me would have NEVER posted these because of that. But instead, I'm just looking for a solution. If anyone can help & at least point me in the right direction I greatly appreciate it!! I'm using my iPhone to take video. Would something else be better? A different time of day? Another set up? Idk anything about photography & lighting or where to even start 🤷‍♀️

Note: Also plan to add tinted windows, wondering if this would help/hurt now..
