Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God This was a part of my reading this morning and it really got me thinking about our current world and how society is structured today. Social media and society in general has a “norm” so to speak on how you should live your life and the choices you make. But this verse right here is what we should all be doing in our daily lives. Don’t let the world conform you to making certain decisions because “thats what everyone else wants me to do” or “well everyone else does it so I can to”. This is not what God wants and definitely not how he wants us to live our lives. Live for him, and think through the decisions that you make. If you live for him and give yourself to him, there is no greater accomplishment or reward in life than living for your lord and savior and doing everything for him and making choices in life that would better him!

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. This verse tells you exactly how to get saved.

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us? And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" Ask yourself, what will you do when God calls on you?

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. This reminds me of Matthew 16:24-26 where Jesus tells us to deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow Him. Jesus loves those who humble themselves and seek Him because the only way to the Father is through Him.
