Hi everyone, my name is Travis. My wife Erin and I have been married for 12 years. We have a 6 year old daughter and 4 year old son. We are both from Louisiana and have been in Livingston, MT for almost 6 years. I’m an architect that has spent my time in MT building short term rental cabins as a way to stay out of the 9-5 office life. We homeschool our kids and try to live that slow, small town life.

Hello, this is Lindsay 👋 my spouse is Joe and we are in New Hampshire / New England. We’ve been here about 10 years - this is joes home state, we met in mine, Maryland. His parents and sister+fam are in the area. We have been together for 16 years, married 13, and we have 2 kids age 7 and 1. Plus 2 dogs who are on the reactive side, let’s say. This is our second set of dogs, we lost our first 2 in 2018 and 2020. We both work from home - me since 2020 and Joe for about a year or so before that. I’m in Sales Operations for a publishing company, and previously did similar work as well as supply chain work for the manufacturing world. I first read fair play a few years ago and knowing the language was a bit unwelcoming for men I started following accounts that posted about it since then to find ways to bring it into the home. We got the cards a year or so ago, and sorted them out and started trying to work on minimum standards of done (I’m probably botching the term - I will be rereading!) and got overwhelmed and with a newborn it went on the back burner. We are glad to be joining a program to help us through the process.

Hey all, I'm Ben. I'll be joining the program with my partner, Rebecca. We live a little outside Atlanta and while we don't have human children, we do have two animal children, Jojen and Malley. I currently work as a journalist and it's the only job I've ever known. Becca and I have read through the first few chapters of FairPlay and have also consumed some content online. We've been together for about 1.5 years now, and since I've moved in we have looked to improve the division of labor and how we communicate with each other. We are truly best friends and are almost always working toward a common goal together, but could use a little tinkering with our day-to-day. We have a wonderful foundation but hope this program can set us up to be great partners long-term.

Hey everyone, I'm Rebecca. I'll be joining the new cohort with my partner, Ben. We live in Georgia about an hour south of Atlanta. Ben and I have been together a little over a year and a half, and Ben moved in with me about seven months ago. Neither of us have kids, but my two senior huskies still have a lot of pep in their step and normally keep me pretty busy. I currently work as a fraud investigator for a large healthcare insurance company, but in a previous life I was a public librarian. I'm hoping to get back to public service in the next year or so, which will mean returning to in-person work and some pretty big changes for our family's day-to-day. Fair Play is relatively new to us - I've been watching Zach's content for a while along with a few other Fair Play facilitators, and Ben and I have both read the first three chapters in the book. We purchased the cards, too, but haven't tried dealing them yet. Sorry Zach, we bought them beforehand, so I missed the opportunity to throw some pennies your way. RIP. Ben and I are each other's best friends, but we haven't mastered the division of labor just yet. I recently injured my knee pretty badly and may end up needing surgery, so my current mobility impairment brought us to trying to get more serious about how we want to handle conceptualizing, planning, and executing the domestic labor, and dealing with the mental load that factors into these processes. I'm really looking forward to this program and getting a chance to meet and grow with you all! :)

Hi everyone! I’m Candice, a Physical Therapist serving active duty in Oklahoma. New to Fair Play alongside my husband, Jordan. We’ve been together for 12 years and married 3 years. We have recently been blessed with our 3 month old son, who is a wonderful addition to our existing family of three, which includes my stepdaughter. We’ll be joining the next cohort, so we’re mostly looking forward to understanding and implementing what the program has to offer.
