Hello All
I’m Harlan and at age 61 I find myself needing to work on my joints and flexibility. I’m now on Federal Disability due to my work related injuries. I’ve had orthotopic surgeries on both knees and been told knee replacements are the next step. The surgeon recommended I wait till I’m 65 since I’ve heard there’s not a lot of revision work out there. Since I’ve been back to pumping iron I’ve managed to reduce the swelling in my knees and regain some leg strength. I’ve worked out on and off since high school (long time ago) when I was on the water polo team and a water safety instructor (aka lifeguard). My motos have been “no pain/ no gain” and “whatever doesn’t kill me makes me stronger” but I’m not a daredevil. Additionally non-work related I have a 50% year in my super spinatos tendon on my left side and have torn off my right bicep muscle from the elbow. All this has started me looking into flexibility and joint work. I’ve modified my training regime to be more lower weight isolating exercises working both directions of each exercise. The positive and the negative. Anyway I now find myself exploring the world of stretching which for an old school exerciser as me is new and strange. I hope to learn more here that will help me in this journey.

Greetings
Hi all. I’m Adam. From the Western New York area. Turning 40 soon and my body has not been cooperating as I’d hoped. I’m pretty healthy overall. Watch my diet. Do strength training a couple time a week. Yoga a couple times a week. Walk my dog about 3 miles a day. But I’ve always had lower back issues. I’m finally understanding that it is likely due to SI joint and psoas muscle issues. I’m hoping mobility training can help extinguish these issues.

I hope everyone is doing well✌🏼 I’m from Serbia but I recently moved to Germany I've had problems with my spine since I was little, it's scoliosis and i didn’t worry about it that much until recently. A long period in my life ended and I realized how much I don't really take care of myself buuut i decided to change that. My shoulders are bent forward as well as my neck, my lower back bends and my knees go a little in an x and I have flat feet. But it doesn't look so scary and seriously alive, juuust to know🤣 I feel daily pains that go from my spine through my neck and then spread through my whole head, and it gets really annoying.. Sometimes when I'm walking my knees touch, just to say hello to each other hahah I’m 23 years old and i feel like i’m 53🤶🏻thats why i joined, I hope this will help me By the way, my english is not perfect, but I can speak and write for the most basic communications For this description took me an hour, with the help of google translate🫠
