An excerpt from an email thread today with a golden child that has become a Man with an identity crisis. He asked me how to reconcile his “squareness with his creative side”…

♦️Anyone can be a creative.

A creative can very much be a square.

Or even a 99%.

Mavericks are not always creatives. But often they can be.

Dynasties are sometimes creative and sometimes not.

Creativity comes in many forms. So it is not in conflict with anything. ♦️

U enjoy nature and many freedoms. But that is different from a more defined free spirit. But even free spirit can be a square at times. Or vise versa.

♦️Maverick is about the way one conceptualizes and takes action.

It’s about a frequency.

Same with Dynasties.♦️

99% also.♦️

Mavericks tend to function best within a loose or less rigid system. They also tend to upend a system or bring change in a more explosive and breaking down or apart or ending the system kind of way. Mavericks also create their own system that works for them but not always for the majority. The function of the system is less important to the Maverick. The flow and the ability to flex and adjust in every now without necessarily reaching desired outcome is key to a Maverick. Maneuverability is very necessary to them.

A Dynasty cares greatly about the function and purpose of the system. About its effectiveness and efficiency. It’s longevity maintenance and productivity. It understands respects and reaches desired outcome successfully more often than not. It does not budge easily when it’s in place and sees it’s importance to reaching desired outcome. Which is why Dynasty can become very wealthy and last for generations.

99% are necessary♦️ to both Mavericks and Dynasties. We need them for us to have something to govern/lead/revolutionize/change/create outcomes.

They are happy to comply. Tend to gravitate to easy and escapism. They love being part of a group and being seen as similar to everyone else in the group. Think football, little league, trending culture, fashion, cars, food… sameness. If I’m like everyone else I’m doing well. And if I can check out and have fun I’m good. And average is good enough for me. They don’t want to sacrifice nor do the extra things required of Mavericks and Dynasties. Leave well enough alone. If it’s not broke don’t fix it. Give me a beer and burger with fries while I bet on the game. Mentality.

♦️99% has a special power Mavericks and Dynasties do not. ♦️The power of mass. ♦️Sheer numbers is their massive strength/super power.

U will not lose ♦️ any aspect of urself.

But u may find a different approach to the creative free aspects of urself, as u settle into and explore and see the value of being Dynasty/Square.
