Prayer Power Hour LIVE! is happening in 41 hours
In the Palm of His hands
Every night, as I tuck my daughter into bed, I pick her up and rock her in my arms as we sing, "He's got the whole world in his hands". This nighttime routine has turned into a beautiful worship experience as we personalize the song with the names of our loved ones. It has turned from "HE'S" got the whole world in his hands to "YOU" - ... Our mighty everlasting all powerful, all knowing Father... a simple children's song becomes an opportunity to surrender and praise as we trust that He has us in the palm of his hand. He will protect us and provide for us. "He has the wind and the rain in His hands" and will "rescue those who call on His name". He is our safe haven. He will cover us under his wings and make a hedge of protection around our homes and loved ones when we pray His word daily. (Psalm 91). He will be with us in the midst of the storm. He is the same God who parts the waters and makes a way in the wilderness. He knows His children (called us before we were born!) and will provide for every need. Oh, how He loves us!! He knows the very number of hairs your head, precious daughter. He knows your every thought and deepest desire. He loves you dearly and has great plans for you. “Come near to God and he will come near to you. ‭‭James‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬ He is proving time and time again that we can fully trust in Him and bring all of our cares to Him, who cares for us. He is with us every step of the way and has already made the way. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NIV

In the Palm of His hands
Peace and protection
May these words bring you peace as you speak His promises or protection over your life and loved ones. When you feel fear creep in or feel anxious, speak over the lies with His truth. He is faithful and keeps His promises. His love endures forever! "I will protect you as you put your trust in me. I am your help and your defender." ““Because you love me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue you; I will protect you, for you call on my name. When you call on me, and I will answer; I will be with you in trouble, I will deliver you and honor you.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭NIV‬‬ “God is within you, you will not fall; God will help you at break of day.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭46‬:‭5‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Jesus has given us His peace! May His words soak into our very being to comfort us and strengthen us. "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives do not let your heart be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14:27 Declare aloud: I receive your peace and presence that overrides every negative circumstance and brings hope and promise. You have already overcome the world! I trust in your words more than man's words. I will set my eyes on things above and walk in your truth and faithful promises.

God's Deliverance is Guaranteed
Thank you to Pastor Ed for this reminder when we need it "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles." - Psalm 34:17 When you’re in the middle of life’s toughest seasons, it’s easy to feel uncertain, wondering if things will ever get better. But as a believer, you don’t have to live in doubt or wishful thinking. You have a solid promise to stand on: God will deliver you. His deliverance is not a vague hope—it’s a guarantee. This is the reason you can have faith, not because you’re wishing for a good outcome, but because God has promised that He will bring you through. When you cry out to God, He hears you. His Word tells us over and over that He delivers His people from their troubles. That’s not just a possibility, it’s His promise to you. It can be tempting to wonder if God is really going to show up, especially when you’ve been in the middle for what feels like forever. But your deliverance is not based on how things look right now or how long you’ve been waiting. It’s based on God’s faithfulness and His Word. God’s deliverance is not something you have to beg for or hope you might be worthy enough to receive. It’s already yours. He’s already planned the way out, and He’s already working on your behalf, even if you can’t see it yet. You can claim His promise of deliverance because it’s guaranteed by the One who never fails. God’s timing may not always align with yours, and the process may not look like you imagined, but He will get you through this season and lead you to where He’s taking you. The reason you can have faith is because you know that God doesn’t break His promises. He has never left you, and He will never forsake you. You may not know exactly how or when the deliverance will come, but you can trust that it will. God is faithful to His word, and He is working all things together for your good. https://youtu.be/NJpt1hSYf2o?si=1kpS_3OPm0hqzo4kHold on to that promise today. Let your faith rest not in wishful thinking, but in the confidence that God will do exactly what He said He would do. Your deliverance is coming. It’s not a matter of “if,” but “when.” Keep your eyes on Him, trusting that He will bring you out of the middle and into the place He’s prepared for you. That’s His promise, and you can claim it.

God's Deliverance is Guaranteed
Trust and Honor
Before my eyes even opened this morning, these two words were on my heart. As I began to pray, these two words formed into two questions to really reflect on: 1) Do I fully trust God? With every detail... every aspect of my life...with entirety? 2) Am I honoring God? With my heart posture... thoughts... my actions... how I spend my time? These are hard questions, but I believe He put them at the forefront of my mind to remind me to set my mind on things above. To live simply. To walk humbly. To keep trusting, even when I can't see the work of His hand... He is working. So I need to keep praising and thanking Him because He is worthy! When I think about the word honor, it strikes a cord deep within me. It comes from a place of deep reverence. It is a reminder that our God is HOLY. Holy and awesome is He! "God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” ‭‭Numbers‬ ‭23‬:‭19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Our God is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. He is still the miracle working, promising keeping God that frees His people and breaks the chains that bind us. He can do anything and wants us to co-partner with Him in prayer, believing in faith that every word He has spoken can and will come to pass. So let's honor Him in our prayer life, trusting that His ways our higher, that He has a plan and He is in control. He is beyond time, the God that steps into time to fulfill every prophecy in His word. He has not forgotten His children and He will not forsake the righteous who call upon His name. I believe we are being called higher, to draw near to Him and stay close, so He can strengthen us and give us His peace. Prayer is how we can walk by faith, confidently speaking His word so that it comes alive in us and He can work through us. It is such a gift that He gives us His word so that as we read our Bibles, it soaks into our hearts so it can flow out of us. “My sons and daughters, keep my words, And treasure my commands within you. Keep my commands and live, And my law as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; Write them on the tablet of your heart.”

Keep trusting- God works beyond what we can see
God Moves Beyond What You Can See By: Pastor Ed Newton "And we know that for those who love God all this work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." - Romans 8:28 There are times in life when your circumstances seem to close in, and no matter how hard you look for a way out, you can’t find one. It’s tempting to think that if things aren’t getting better, God must not be moving. But the way God works isn’t always linear. It doesn’t always follow a gradual, step-by-step process. In fact, sometimes it feels like things have to get worse before they get better. Yet, it’s in these moments of hopelessness that God can completely transform your situation in an instant. Think about how God works. He doesn’t follow our timeline or our expectations. You might feel stuck in the same pattern for what seems like forever, but that doesn’t mean God is absent. Often, He’s working behind the scenes in ways you can’t see, preparing the breakthrough you didn’t even know was coming. When you least expect it, He can take what looks like a hopeless situation and turn it around, almost like flipping a switch. Your current circumstances, whether financial strain, relationship struggles, or overwhelming uncertainty, don’t determine how or when God is going to move. Just because you don’t see progress right now doesn’t mean it’s not coming. God’s ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect. He can provide for your needs in ways you never imagined, even when you don’t see a way out. It’s important to remember that God is a provider, not just in the gradual blessings of life, but in those miraculous moments when everything changes in an instant. He can open doors you never knew existed, bring provision from unexpected places, and make a way where there seems to be no way. When you find yourself in a dark place, hold on. God is not limited by what you can see or understand. Trust that He is working, even when it feels like nothing is happening. And when the time is right, He will move in ways that will amaze you.
