Things you can do with Perplexity 🤯
  1. Track stocks: Enter any stock ticker (or “[Company] stock”) and it will generate an interactive chart.
  2. Switch up your search: In addition to web searches, you can search medical journal, papers, reports or articles.
  3. Build timelines: track how something’s changed over time, like ChatGPT Pricing
  4. Price comparison: Just ask “Where can I find the best price for [items you want]” to compare prices (another example)
  5. Track current events: get snapshot recaps of what’s happening in the election, or what happened with the weather in Florida.
  6. Research properties: Find out who owns a building or company, when it was last sold, or how many houses sold in a your market last month.
  7. Update your SEO: Use Perplexity’s API in your own apps, or in Google Sheets, to create topical maps of keywords to include in your content.
  8. Create “GPTs” but for Perplexity: Use Collections to group related via custom instructions, kinda like customGPTs / Claude Projects
  9. Reasoning: Pro users can use o1 with Perplexity to reason thought problems—its ChatGPT o1, but with the internet search
  10. Recreate Google Alerts: Someone build a bot to find and send the latest news about their competitors. Fair warning, this takes some coding skills! (just heard about this one, have not done it)
