🔵Morpholio Interior Workshop is happening in 3 days
Lost…..and found
This one took several wide and variable turns on the way to final(?) rendering. What started out as a fairly typical city scene quickly turned into a midnight trip through Gotham City! Kind of got lost but had a fun time trying to turn this into something identifiable. Initial perspective layout in Morpholio Trace, the rest in Procreate. Attachments include initial sketch, value study and final rendering.

A couple of timesavers
Something you may already know, but if you don't these are great timesavers while using Procreate. You can set a screen gesture to easily show the QuickMenu and Layer Select. The QuickMenu is great for storing your most used pen or action changes. Layer Select make changing layers as easy as touching the screen. If there is only one layer in the location you choose the layer will automatically change to that layer. If there are multiple layers your choices are shown on screen for you to choose. Hope this helps with your productivity.

Past Lives
A little something harking back to a much earlier employment experience. I was part of a very talented and committed design team that had the privilege of making this concept a national, and even international, success. A lot of fun time spent with good friends.

Print quality
I’ve got a question for anyone in the group. I’ve got a Procreate project that is going to be printed on 48”(w) x 36” poster board for a presentation. With my iPad, the maximum dpi is 150 and only 9 layers. I’ve drawn it on said size. Is this going to look any good? I apologize for asking for advice on a forum where we are all at different levels in our careers and someone asking for “free” advice might be unseemly. Thanks!

Hatch Demo using Procreate
During an earlier discussion Henry asked if I could put together a quick time lapse showing a cumulative hatch process using Procreate. The attached demonstrates a series of selections over a line drawing to generate different zones to receive brush marks. The same brush setting is used each iteration. The last step might not be quite as obvious as I intended...it is simply to turn off visibility to the linework layer.
