I was reading a book recently and it mentioned a very great tip 馃挮
This was to add fiber slowly into your diet or else it could cause an upset stomach 馃ウ
Since fiber does not really get digested and it just passes through the gut, bacteria really loves to feast on it, if you add too much too quickly, the bacteria eating it may cause gas more frequently or you wont be able to digest it fast enough and it will cause cramps and bloating.
Cramps are what happened to me when I ate too much fiber, try to bring your intake up 5-10 grams per day until you reach your desired goal 馃
