Why You Lose SO MUCH On KETO π€
So it's quite a common occurrence that people go on the keto diet or some form of low carb and lose a lot of weight very quickly, why is that ? CARBS HOLD A LOT OF WATER π The reason you loose 5,10 or even 15 lbs in your first few weeks of keto is because when you get rid of the carbs, your body looses all the water that the carbs were holding, thus you feel lighter, become less bloated and lose a bit more weight π₯ BUT THERES A CATCH π« The weight you lose is NOT FAT, you can do this on any other diet and it is just a byproduct of keto and it does not mean that keto is the best diet for long term weight loss, if you stick best with keto then do keto, if not, then stick to the diet that works well for you π₯ Personally I tried keto and I never liked it, I like tracking my calories, so it's all personal preference π
