These are words of doubt. But here’s the truth: You are WORTHY. You are made in the image of God. Genesis 1:27 says, “So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them.” Proverbs 18:21 reminds us that “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” What you speak over your life matters. God has given each of us a unique calling, and by constantly looking at what others are doing or achieving, we lose sight of what He has prepared specifically for us. It’s like trying to run a race while looking at the lane next to you—you end up stumbling and losing your momentum. God reminds us to stay in our lane and keep our eyes on Jesus. When we focus on Him and trust in the process He’s guiding us through, we’ll find peace and purpose. The more you compare yourself to those who have a different calling, the less you will operate in the calling God has for your life. The only measure we need to keep is how aligned we are with God’s purpose for us. So, let’s remember: comparison steals joy and derails our destiny. Instead, stay rooted in who God says you are, run your race with faith, and keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
