10 Principles Of A Godly Man 👇
1. Seek God First “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33 Begin each day by dedicating time to prayer and reading Scripture. Make God the first priority in your heart, plans, and decisions. 2. Live with Integrity “The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.” — Proverbs 11:3 Make honesty and uprightness a habit in all areas of life. Reflect on your actions daily to ensure they align with God’s character. 3. Pursue Righteousness, Godliness, and Faith “But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness.” — 1 Timothy 6:11 Regularly examine your heart to identify areas for spiritual growth. Set specific goals for your relationship with God and commit to studying His Word. 4.Be a Leader in Your Family “But if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God's church?” — 1 Timothy 3:5 Lead by example through love, patience, and faithfulness. Dedicate time each week for family devotionals or discussions about faith. 5. Work Diligently “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” — Colossians 3:23 Approach your work with excellence, remembering that your efforts honor God. Set goals and work consistently toward them with a positive attitude. 6. Be Humble and Teachable “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.” — James 4:10 Practice humility by actively listening to others and seeking wisdom from God and mentors. Reflect on feedback and use it to grow. 7. Guard Your Heart and Mind “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” — Proverbs 4:23 Action: Be mindful of what you expose yourself to, including media, conversations, and relationships. Commit to healthy boundaries to protect your heart and mind. 8. Be Courageous and Stand Firm

When you read the Bible, it serves as a powerful tool to shape and refine your life, guiding you toward a closer relationship with God. As I reflect on 2 Timothy 3:16, I’m reminded that “All Scripture is breathed out by God and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and training in righteousness.” Each of these aspects is essential for our spiritual growth and aligning our lives with God’s will. Teaching Scripture provides foundational truths about God, humanity, and the principles by which we are called to live. It teaches us who God is, His character, His promises, and His purpose for our lives. • Scripture: Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” The Bible teaches us by illuminating our path and providing wisdom and understanding, showing us how to walk in God’s ways. Rebuking The Bible also serves as a mirror, revealing areas where we may be falling short of God’s standards. Through rebuke, it helps us recognize and confront sin in our lives, calling us to repentance and growth. • Scripture: Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword… discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” The Word has the power to pierce our hearts, exposing areas that need change and drawing us closer to holiness. Correcting While rebuke reveals where we’ve gone wrong, correction shows us how to get back on track. Scripture guides us back to God’s ways, offering wisdom to replace sinful habits with righteous living. • Scripture: Proverbs 3:11-12 encourages us, “My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline or be weary of his reproof, for the Lord reproves him whom he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights.” This reminds us that correction is an act of love, helping us grow closer to God’s standard. Training in Righteousness Finally, Scripture trains us in righteousness, helping us to develop discipline and grow in godly character. This training equips us to live in a way that honors God and serves others.

Letting go of pride increases spiritual growth.
Embrace humility to transform your life. To truly allow God to work in your life, you must let go of two major obstacles: pride and ego. These barriers prevent you from fully embracing God’s calling on your life and limit His transformative work within you. James 4:7 says, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Surrendering pride and ego is how you draw closer to God and strengthen your ability to resist the enemy. 1 Peter 5:6-7 reminds us, "Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you." Humility unlocks the power of submission. When we humble ourselves, we trust God’s timing and allow Him to elevate us according to His plan. Let go of self-reliance and allow God's transformative work to take place in your life. Only when we empty ourselves of pride can we be filled with God’s grace and purpose. PS: When we let go of pride and ego, we make room for God to transform our lives in ways we never imagined. Don't limit His power in you!
