HELP!!!! SHIN SPLINTS :(
Anyone have any advice on how to heal shin splints fast???? Pain in my front anterior tib muscle from above the ankle to a few inches up on left leg only. Took a week off from running so far, stopped wearing flips flops, did some cryotherapy & compression boots, wearing a compression sleeve on my shin, upped calories & have been focusing on lifting weights… gonna take Another 7 days off (14 days off total) & gonna try a slow easy run for 30-45 mins on day 15 in hopes of being healed and ready to return. I NEED MY RUNNING! Lol I know it sounds crazy but seriously… not running is driving ME crazy! How do YOU deal with treating your shin splints & any methods to recover fast?

Sole and heel pain
Ok so ever since I started to try to run on “correct form” Landing on the sole of my foot instead of bottom to tip I have discomfort every time I am done running. The sole hurts and sometimes the heels. Does it ever get easier or should I go back to bad form running 😅

Need to use the bathroom
So what to do about needing to use the bathroom a few miles into a run? My stomach gets crazy. If I race I do a mile run when I wake up before eating but this doesn't always take care of the issue?

Too many electrolytes??
I'm wondering if it's possible to get too many electrolytes? I did a 12 person 200 mile relay last weekend from Fort Collins to Steamboat Colorado. It was HOT, we were constantly either running or in the van, there was no sleep for me and food timing was difficult based on the timing of my legs. And apparently all I drank was electrolytes in my water. After my second leg I started to feel nauseous and had some strange digetive discoloration... My 3rd leg of 8 miles felt very slow, fatigued and even a little dizzy at some points. I'm sure it was a plethora of factors but I'm wondering if anyone has evey experienced something like that?
