How To Run 3x A Week For Your Marathon (Video Breakdown)
Hey Strong Runners 💪🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ I recently put together a video on how to run only 3x a week for your half or full marathon. I've talked to thousands and have personally coached hundreds of runners over the years and one of the things I hear constantly is that running 5x a week is causing them to get injured. And it makes sense because that much volume, especially if you are running your first half or full marathon, is oftentimes MORE than what your body can handle. You are essentially going from 0 to 100... So what ends up happening is you start with a little bit of discomfort/pain in, let's say the knee, and because your plan has you run 5x a week you continue to push through it. Unfortunately your injury usually gets worse and worse. Not better. And that's why runners will end up in physical therapy, not able to run for months, and have to defer their race until next year. But because you are apart of this awesome community, I won't let that happen to you. I will show you how you can run just 3x a week for your marathon and avoid getting seriously injured. HELP!!!! SHIN SPLINTS :(
Anyone have any advice on how to heal shin splints fast???? Pain in my front anterior tib muscle from above the ankle to a few inches up on left leg only. Took a week off from running so far, stopped wearing flips flops, did some cryotherapy & compression boots, wearing a compression sleeve on my shin, upped calories & have been focusing on lifting weights… gonna take Another 7 days off (14 days off total) & gonna try a slow easy run for 30-45 mins on day 15 in hopes of being healed and ready to return. I NEED MY RUNNING! Lol I know it sounds crazy but seriously… not running is driving ME crazy! How do YOU deal with treating your shin splints & any methods to recover fast?

Sole and heel pain
Ok so ever since I started to try to run on “correct form” Landing on the sole of my foot instead of bottom to tip I have discomfort every time I am done running. The sole hurts and sometimes the heels. Does it ever get easier or should I go back to bad form running 😅
