Welcome to the MPP community! My name is Reeves Martin, and my passion is helping the next generation of baseball pitchers unlock their full potential—both on and off the field. I grew up in Tampa, FL, where I attended Tampa Catholic High School. After high school, I headed to Northwest Florida State College (JUCO) to continue my baseball journey. Unfortunately, I faced a setback due to bone spurs in my shoulder, which required surgery and rehab. But that challenge led me to the University of New Orleans (UNO), where I found my stride as a closer in the bullpen. During my junior year, I became a D1 All-American, setting UNO records for saves in a season, career saves, and career appearances. In 2019, I had the honor of being drafted by the Seattle Mariners, and I spent a few years playing for them, eventually reaching AAA. However, during that time, I realized my true passion wasn’t just playing—it was helping others achieve greatness. So, I made the decision to retire and shift my focus to coaching. Shortly after, the Mariners brought me on as their ACL Pitching Coach, where I gained invaluable experience working with emerging talent. In early 2023, I launched MPP with a mission: to help as many pitchers as possible reach their highest potential. I’m thrilled to have you all here and look forward to supporting your growth as pitchers and as individuals. Welcome to the MPP family!
