Progress One Step at a Time
Today, we hit 1k subscribers on our YouTube channel. This is a good milestone but there is much more work to do. We've been focusing more on short form content for awareness. Sometime this year, we'll return to more long form content. More philosophy breakdown, more topics that will help in day-to-day life, and more.

The Blacklist is Live
It's time to start truly helping people become the best versions of themselves. I've been working on Rethinking Education in the background at https://www.thedamienblack.com/rethinking-education This is the beginning of the foundation of our community. My goal is that everyone is living to the best of their abilities, that you're not stuck in a job you don't like, and you are pursuing your passion. This is the first step in a long journey. The book is free to download and you can sign up for The Blacklist which is the newsletter where I give insights from my own journey.

Goals are Necessary
I've been realizing more and more that people lack proper goals. The goals I'm talking about long-term goals. What do you want to pursue in life? What do you want to do in 10 years or 20 years? Thinking this far out is important because it will help you put your current actions into perspective. Is what you are doing now bringing you closer to your goals. Is there a more efficient, and even enjoyable, method? I challenge you to reflect on your goals and write them down for the rest of the community. I like the concept of SMART goals. SMART goals are: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Timely. For example, I WILL make $1m in liquid cash in 3 years. As you can see, I am specific. It can be easily measured. I know it is achievable because others have done it before me and I have the ability to learn from their experiences. It is relevant because it is a stepping stone for my later, more long term goals. And, finally it is timely because I gave myself a time requirement to achieve this goal. Try this exercise and take that next step to success.

Rise & Grind: The Unstoppable Path to Success
I've been working on some things in the background in preparation for 2024. It's expected to be an important time that will determine the future for decades to come. 2023 has seen the rise of AI, economic volatility, political tension, and much more. Don't be discouraged. Times for crisis have also been times of great opportunity. Hopefully, this post will give you the mindset necessary for success. In a world where dreams are plenty but action is scarce, remember that the journey to greatness begins with a single step, a step of commitment and unwavering determination. Let's talk about transforming your aspirations into tangible achievements. Embrace a Resilient Spirit: Success isn't for the faint-hearted. It's for those who are unstoppable, those who understand that every setback is a setup for a comeback. The path to your goals isn't a straight line; it's a rugged terrain that demands resilience. So when you're faced with obstacles, channel your inner champion, rise up, and confront them head-on. Cultivate a Growth Mindset: There is power in continuous learning and evolution. Your mind is your most potent tool. Sharpen it. Adopt a growth mindset that sees every experience as an opportunity to grow. Surround yourself with knowledge, seek out challenges, and never shy away from change. As you expand your horizons, so too will your capacity to achieve greatness expand. Set Clear, Actionable Goals: Dreams without goals are merely wishes. Break down your aspirations into achievable milestones. Write them down. Make them real. Then, devise a plan to conquer each one systematically. Remember, the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Make that step today. Discipline Over Motivation: Motivation can waver, but discipline is unwavering. Cultivate habits that align with your goals. Whether it's waking up early, exercising regularly, or dedicating time to your craft, let discipline be the foundation upon which your success is built. Find Your 'Why': Your 'why' is the fuel that will keep you going even when things become difficult. It's the core reason behind your ambitions. Reflect on it, embrace it, and let it drive you toward your destiny.

New Categories
I've added new categories for the different groups within Nocturnity. Skool limits us to 10 categories, so "The Sages" and "The Mentors" do not have their own category. This is okay because all of us should be lifelong learners and we should aspire to improve the lives of all of those around us. A lot of work is being done in the background and you can look forward to more valuable posts in the future. If you have any questions or would like to see anything in particular, please let me know.
