Last question possibly ever

So I'm working this possibly as my last ever contribution in this group. I'm a university student. Who plays semi pro football at age 19. I'm currently in my first year of university. And exams are around the corner.

I approached my coach today and told him I wouldn't be able to come to training for like a month because of exams and he told me to stop football all together. I don't know why that felt like a blow. But I'm deeply hurt. Any advice.
