Synchronous Work > Asynchronous Work
Lately, I’ve been experimenting with a new approach: collaborative build sessions with my clients. Instead of the traditional asynchronous back-and-forth, we work together in real time for an hour or two each day, building and iterating directly on their project scope. The best part? Watching clients actively solve their own business challenges. This hands-on strategy bridges the gap between business and technology, fostering ownership and empowering teams to iterate and test new ideas long after our sessions end. Rather than pouring resources into disconnected development cycles, this approach enables clients to actively shape their software in real-time. I think the best approach is to combine a mix of both synchronous and asynchronous work to really accelerate development. But so far synchronous work is proving to be valuable.

WeWeb/Xano Documentation Upgrade!
After all the great feedback @Daniel Migizi and I received from early beta testers, we have made huge upgrades to the documentation so that it explains every flow and integration in full detail, within the context of WeWeb and Xano! 🔍 What we've built: - Comprehensive system architecture documentation - Detailed database schema mappings - Step-by-step implementation guides - Visual flow diagrams for all integrations - Complete endpoint documentation with exact function steps 🛠️ Key features covered: - Authentication (Email, Google OAuth, Magic Links) - Payment Processing (Stripe Checkout, Subscriptions, Connect) - Email System Integration - Webhook Management What makes this documentation special is that it's specifically designed for the low-code context of WeWeb and Xano. Instead of loosely connected solutions, you get exact implementation steps that match how you actually work in these platforms. What would typically take weeks to implement can now be set up in a few hours, with confidence that every integration works exactly as intended. Looking forward to officially launching this week!

Why WeWeb and Xano?
The question of "why WeWeb and Xano" comes up every now and then. Why not use an AI code editor instead? Based on our mental model developed with Ray Deck, the core reason is ownability. We have found that WeWeb and Xano are enjoyable for the client to learn how to use, because they empower the user to create software using a truly visual approach, which is completely different from the experience of building with traditional code. This has created an opportunity for the client's internal team to be trained in powerful new skills - skills that they actually want to learn, which is key for them to be able to take ownership of the project, and truly own their investment.

Why WeWeb and Xano?
Claude launched some enhanced models today!
Check out this demo for "Computer-Use." It makes me want to get VSCode and use it locally. In the past ive used replit for my IDE but didnt want to keep paying for it since I rarely used it. I love where AI is taking us. Check out the demo here Link to Computer-Use Docs
