Attacking the turtle 🐢
Let's have a look at some ways to approach attacking the turtle position before I release some videos on the matter. 1) break it down at the arms or hips (spiral rides) 2) threaten guillotines 3) threaten leg locks The absolute best approach is to threaten all of these at the SAME time. So desirable outcome is always available even if your first threat is blocked.

Catch-Wrestling VS BJJ
In Catch-Wrestling we know that the ground must first be EARNED. Having no capabilities to take your opponent down is a sure way to lose a fight. Catch-Wrestling fills in the gaps that BJJ leaves wide open. "It is a fate worse than death to be taken down by a BJJ practitioner" - Kazushi Sakuraba

Catch-Wrestling VS BJJ
What makes my style unique?
I combine 30 years of Judo knowledge with 15 years of Catch Wrestling. Coached by former heavyweight UFC champion Josh Barnett and having trained and fought alongside Kazushi Sakuraba you are at the right place. let's start by looking at how the double wrist lock is superior to the jiujitsu kimura. 3 reasons why the double wrist lock beats the kimura Leverage! The double wrist lock is Biomechanically superior to the kimura. An arm is much like a stick, if you want to break it then grab the ends of that stick. This is never the case with the kimura. Monkey grips! Use your thumb, its far far better in terms of control and wrist manipulation which we will look at in depth soon. Chicken wing! We have to make sure the arm is fully bent before trying to get the finish. An arm that isn't brought fully into the side of the body in a full flexion position is NOT going to result in an easy submission. Stay tuned for more in depth looks into the double wrist lock and finishing it from every position. https://youtu.be/tTjl95kpj8Y?si=4k7TIr4h6w09fId-

Kesa Gatame Video
I am a judo practitioner and I think the Kesa Gatame explanation was great! The wide stance is important, and the way it was explained how to transfer your weight into your opponent without compromising position was great! Thanks
