Important Dates for this week - Year 4s and Year 5s LJ Families

This is the weekly check-in for families on our Year 4 and Year 5 Learning Journey programme with a reminder of important dates and events for the week.

I hope your children joined Sunday's lesson. The recordings are in the Classroom in the Year 4/5

Learning Vaults. If you have sent us your child's details, work will have been set on your child's atom account.

VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE:

1️⃣Children must have their worksheets printed out and ready (or open on a tab in front of them) before the lesson every week.

2️⃣Children must have their own names on the screen and not the names of their parents in each lesson.

You will receive an email to explain these 👆 points in more detail.

🌟Vocabulary Challenge replays and docs:

The replays and accompanying documents are now in the Vocabulary Mastery course in the Classroom.

has kindly provided the additional 'Make a Sentence' documents which will help you with doing your own challenges.

🌟Educator Session by Sheena Ager- Bringing Words to Life

Author Sheena Ager is hosting this month's session. She will give you strategies to upgrade your child's vocabulary and introduce you to 'contranyms.'

The Zoom link is in the Calendar and the sample chapter is in your year group's Learning Vault. It is very IMPORTANT to go through this BEFORE the session. This session is suitable for both children and parents.

🌟Extra practice

Questions will be on your child's Atom account. Please refer to the emails for activation. New activities have been set for the class after Sunday's class.

Those with a subscription, go through topics taught last week so learning is re-inforced.
