Ever missed out on a promotion to someone less experienced?
A few years ago I missed out on a promotion that was given to a less experienced outsider instead 😳 I did everything to get that promotion.... Worked hard, sacrificed time away from my family... Exceeded my KPIs... Gave massive value & always went over and above to make my boss look good I even made an impromptu appearance in a board meeting to represent her... When I look back I realize I was so naive 🫣, thinking that the promotion was automatically mine when my boss eventually resigned and they replaced her with someone else instead... I left that workplace thinking I wasn't valued. I learnt later on that I actually wasn't ready. 📣 I wasn't thinking, acting, talking, leading like the woman I needed to be to step into MANCO. When I shifted focus to my IDENTITY, everything changed 🙌🏽When I let go of the stories and beliefs that didn't serve me or where I was going, I stepped into a new level and version of me that was a match for the leadership I desired 🔥 And if I can, you sure can too 👏🏽How have you dealt with career disappointments in the past?👇🏽 P.S Ready to step into a new level of leadership and get paid, promoted and recognized as the BOSS you deserve to be?
