The Future of the Group
Hi all, I apologize for not being very present lately. We have quite a few big projects going on including a new virtual tour that will be live in a few weeks, our agroforestry project at the farm, and forming new partnerships that will help fund the development of more educational content. We will likely shut down this page in the coming weeks as we don't have the capacity to moderate this space. I want to stay in touch with everyone through other platforms. If you are on Instagram, please post your handle below so I can follow you. If you would like updates on our virtual tours, please sign up for our newsletter at EdgePerma.com. Everything we are currently working on will be accessible for free on our website. Thank you for being a part of the Permaculture Collective. Andrew

Has anyone tried Barrelponics?
I was thinking of testing out a small setup, but it looks to be pretty expensive to start? Is it worth the time and money?

First time gardener...what's a good crop to start with?
We're creating a small backyard garden about 1,400 sq ft. Approx 540 sq ft will be dedicated to the greenhouse and chicken coop. The frontyard will have a shaded herb garden. What are some essential crops you think I should start with? I'm looking at crops that are beginner friendly, good yield, versatile foods for cooking for a family with kids.
