How do we master fear?
"Resistance has no strength of its own. Every ounce of juice it possesses comes from us. We feed it with power by our fear of it. Master that fear and we conquer resistance." Steven Pressfield We master fear by doing the hard things. The hard things that we believe will get us what we know we want. Think of it as exposure therapy. Acclaimed actor Henry Fonda never got over his stage fright but he kept performing and achieved the esteem of his peers as a result. Jewelry designer Kendra Scott was turned down again and again by outlets -- but she persevered and her business empire is now a global phenomenon. But what about you? Here's a great exercise to get you started, especially when you don't know what it is you want to do. Talk to people. I'm serious. Next time you see someone you find interesting -- talk to them. Walk up to that total stranger and ask them about themselves. If you think, "He looks cool. I wonder how he learned to dress like that?" Or, "Dang, her hair is cute. I want to know how she did that." If you have any thoughts like that about a total stranger, approach and compliment them. Be curious. No one cares if you're nervous or trip over your words. If anything, people will think it's charming and sincere. People will like you. People will be impressed by your courage. If you've read this far, I already know you're a real one. So get out in the world today and gift people your presence. The Kingdom of Heaven is Within, y'all. Change YOU, Change the world . . .

What will you achieve this weekend?
A couple weeks ago I dedicated 12 hrs to getting caught up on my business. That experience showed me how much is achievable once I raised my standards. Face it. We know what we want to achieve. We just put it off. We tell ourselves after 3 pm we’re useless. That we don’t work as well at night. Or, perhaps we genuinely don’t know where to start. Just start this weekend. Some of you won’t be back at work til Tuesday. Just start. Even if it’s the wrong task. You won’t know until you start. Action is clarity. And clarity equals money. If you want to shake the starving artist mindset, I share how I changed my mind + changed my life here 👇

How I Kill Procrastination
Learning something new can be tough. We try and try, but it doesn't seem to work out. It's tempting to give up, but that's the worst thing we can do. The secret? It's all about repetition. Those frustrated feelings when you're still learning? They don't matter. What's really holding you back is expecting instant success. Real progress looks different - it's doing the same thing many times, even when it feels hard. Think about great artists or inventors in their workspaces, or famous authors writing their books. That's what mastery looks like - just showing up and putting in the work, day after day. You can do that too. Keep practicing, and you'll get there!

Creative Workspace
The past 29 days I’ve drafted my first nonfiction book, outlined a course, and possibly said goodbye to a relationship I thought would last forever. Whatever is going on in your life right now, I invite you to take a picture of your creative space and post it in the comments. Not for judgment — but to commemorate this moment in your journey. I’ve often destroyed photographs, drawings, writings, even films (!) I’ve created over the years as part of my grieving process. I’d like to change that by documenting, acknowledging the painful parts of my life now. Who knows how I’ll feel when I look at this picture six months from now. We’ll see.
