Don't look for validation, try this instead...

Yesterday, beautiful reader of this letter “Ella“ sent me:

My biggest roadblock is having the courage to put myself out there. I am afraid of the judgment online and from people who know me. It also seems like a lot of responsibility, but it is the path I have chosen.

If you could talk about tips to overcome this, I would appreciate that very much!

Let's start this off with a lil' story...

10+ years ago, lil' young Euan dreamed of being a YouTuber.

There aren't as many "haters" as you might think online.

But the biggest one of all...

Who cares?

You gotta realize that every single human on earth only pays attention to themselves.

While you are thinking:

"Oh... They might judge me"

They are thinking:

"Oh... They might judge me!"

Do you see how pointless stressing about this all is? It leads to nowhere. Plus, creating content is the single most incredible thing you can do... EVER.

Yes you'll fail a lot.

Yes you'll get stressed a lot.

Yes you'll wonder if it was the right call.

WE ALL DO!

But I literally can't put into words how incredible life becomes when you land on that thing you love so much, that you just wanna keep writing about it all day.

There is no better feeling.

And letting a self-conscious thought stop you from experiencing that?

Ahh... That would be a waste.

Now I get you dear Ella, I was in the same boat for so long.

But trust me when I say:

All you need to do is start ;)
